Logo identity for the four sub-departments of the Student Support Office at the Royal College of Art. The design combined image and text set in the college’s house typeface Monotype Grotesque. The motif of the hand, chosen for its association with the idea of support, was used to form pictograms symbolising the specialism of each department. Sharp colours of blue, green, red and violet were used to ensure the visibility of each panel on busy college notice boards. Each of the panels was laser etched with additional white paint inlay.
