Our Poster represents a visual conversation of influences and fields of interest through images. A ‘World Without Words’ by Jasper Morrison was our starting point. It was a collection of images that Morrison compiled in 1988 from his collection of second-hand books and postcards. We restricted ourselves to only using images. Material was sourced from the Internet, and within a week we had a large collection. Each image was printed out separately and then laid out on the floor. When looking down at the images on the floor our ‘editing suite’ could be compared to a computer screen using Adobe InDesign. The images where organised by associating one image to another through either a visual or a conceptual link. Overlooking the gallery floor from its walkways, we began searching for images that could start and lead conversations.
